Lets Play With Solstice
Ah, solstice... what can we do with this one ?
as far as i know, we can do a lot of thing with this hero, for an example; a simple counter attack, especially whe the opponents team gank you, or just to escape. but, we'll talk about it later.
solsltice is a part of legion STR heroes with melee type of attack. The interesting skill of this hero is, he has so much a oe ability and wide range of skill damage.
In earlier game, you can use solstice to farm in jungle or if you have a good laning skill, you can farm in the lane. Most of player use solstice to farm in jungle, but i ever met someone who solo his lane with good laning ability. He can use this hero to farm, disturb me, even deny creep while i'm trying to harras him. He even can use solstice to escape from me when i tied to trap him, good game bro.
The benefit when you farm with nc (neutral creep), noone disturb you and steal your last hit, except your opponent decide to hunt you down for an easy kill. After you get enough experience and some item, you can start ganking your enemy. Tell your ally to start hit them, and you came to stun them with your Blinding Dash skill. 1,5 second stun is good enough to stop your enemy, giving you and your teammate chance to landing high damage before he can runaway. After stun, you can block their path, so they can't move freely. It's your chance to get a kill. But, if they can run from you, just chase then till you can get kill. Don't let they use the surrounding area to hide, make you like a fool when you chase them between trees or pass through blind spot. The better way to know where they are, use your second skill. Shining Rays grant a vision in the targetted area and giving your enemy mdps (magic damage per second) for 8 second. This mdps prevent them for using hp/mana pot, but when in the night time, it just show you where are them. SOmetimes this skill is useful for ganking, and sometimes this is a good skill to ks your teammate, a good decision when they are trolling you all the time with stealing your kill.
DO I told you if most of players use solstice to farm in the jungle of Caldavar ?

Some people always take the 3rd skill of solstice, Grraceful strike at first. Thought it just passive skill, this is a good skill to kill nc at their spawn camp. The ability makes your 3rd attack imbued with bonus physical damage and lifesteal, a simple tool for farming wherever you are.
The last, this is the best things solstice ever had, his ultimate skill. Pure Light give solstice the highest damage output which you can give as a gift to your enemies. The thing that make me sad it, this ability need to be channeled to cast, althought you can manually activate to cast it. The best damage and range of damage are based on how long you channel the skill. Another thing, you need to hide from enemies to cast this skill freely for a surprise attack or counter attack. When they play gank to one of your teammates, Pure Light is a surprise, so this is a little tricky.
